11th Annual Christmas in the Square 2015 is Underway
Frisco, TEXAS (December 9, 2015) – Frisco Square Property Owners Association, NBC 5 and the City of Frisco’s 11th annual Christmas in the Square Light Extravaganza is underway and continues to delight the large crowds. Christmas in the Square continues through January 2nd, 2015 in the heart of Frisco Square, at Main Street and Coleman Boulevard. Watch as the lights dance to some of your favorite holiday songs.
Enjoy the Light Extravaganza from an open air, horse drawn carriage provided by North Star Carriages. The only thing better than walking under the lights, is riding. Carriage rides continue Thursday through Sundays until January 3rd from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm and will be loading at the corner of Coleman Boulevard and Frisco Square Boulevard. Carriage rides are $6.00 per person.
Skate the Square, a real outdoor ice rink, offers a unique opportunity to ice skate during the largest choreographed light show in North Texas. Seasonal, daily ice skating cost is $10 per person, per day, including skate rentals and reservations for the ice rink for private events is $250 per hour.
In addition, don’t miss the trackless train this Saturday, December 12th from 6:00-10:00pm. Trackless Train rides are $3.00 per person.
Adults and kids alike will enjoy the furry friends at the Petting Zoo and kids can have fun on a pony ride! Petting Zoo is $5.00 per person as well as the pony rides. Petting Zoo is conveniently located next to the Boy Scout Troop 51 Christmas Tree Lot off of Main Street (east of Jakes Uptown).
Boy Scout Troop 51 is hosting a Christmas Tree Lot through December 20th at Frisco Square. You will find the most beautiful selection of fresh cut trees at great prices.
